We believe everyone should be given access to resources that set them up for success. Many people with PMDD suffer from low work performance and strained relationships with friends, families and coworkers. There’s even the potential of getting fired from work because of frequent absence from work due to the crippling effect and cyclical nature of PMDD. That’s where we think Ovathera can help to change lives in a meaningful way.
Work With Me
I am Dr. Gloria Areghan. I am a nurse practitioner with doctorate degree in preventive medicine. My main focus is removing the barriers to accessing care, by streamlining the process and putting our patients first. I am passionate about PMDD and making sure patients have access to critical health services they so need. I am currently licensed to practice in Mississippi, Iowa and Maryland. I have over twenty years experience with board certifications as Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Today, we’re leading the way with being a critical voice for those who might be struggling with PMDD. We are the only organization to offer this level of HIPPA secured PMDD management online with board certified providers.
PMDD is misunderstood by providers. It is a condition with no home. Treatments are uncoordinated, taking months to years to arrive at the correct diagnosis and treatment. Though listed in the DSM V, psychiatrists prefer management by gynecologist and the gynecologists prefer psychiatric management due to mood involvement. At Ovathera, we have married both providers by using providers that have been board certified in mental health as well as in general medical care. These providers are well knowledgeable in managing PMDD. Patients sometimes have to wait six months and spend up to $2,000 or more just to be diagnosed.
